Why I began
I grew up in a vegetarian family and enjoyed dairy foods. Then I began asking why humans take milk made by another mammal for her young. That question changed how I looked at the food on my plate and the lives behind it.
Vegan Guardian grows from a simple concern: other beings have lives of their own. Our habits can hide that fact. Once we see it, we can examine what choices are necessary and what harm we can avoid.
What you will find here
My Natural-System Argument is the foundation. I also want this to be a place for articles about animals and nature, careful questions, sourced work on health and nutrition, and a modest collection of useful recipes. Claims about health and the environment will need evidence. My personal experience will be identified as such.
You do not need to agree with me to read and think along. Ask what we can perceive, what we control and what we need to do to live.
Humans are participants in nature, not owners of it.
